When you first start the VLC Media Player opens a window on the criteria of confidentiality and network, in which authorization is sought to make the download of information via the Internet and automatically checking for updates.
The user interface is essential and, in some ways atypical. But the organization of menus and buttons, however, is quite intuitive. At the bottom is spread the classic block of buttons that serve to control the media stream, consisting of play / pause, stop, back and forth.
Continuing to the right there are buttons to show a video in full screen, view the ladder, open the Settings panel extended cyclically play one or more content and to randomize playback of the same file. The slider to control the volume level is located in the far right of the graphical interface. While in the lower part are a status bar indicating the content title, playback speed variation with relative sliders and elapsed time of playback with a total duration. In the upper part is then put out the timeline, which also allows you to quickly scroll back and forth playing the content and the typical drop-down menu to access all the features made available by the software.
